In Heilongjiang Province, the Heyin Musical Instrument Company in Mudanjiang is currently the world's largest base for the research, production, and export of high-quality concert string instruments.

Covering 18,000 square meters, the company introduces visitors to the history, culture, and craftsmanship of violins. It showcases masterfully handmade violins, violas, and cellos, along with production tools, materials, and exhibits on the evolution of the factory and its artisans.

Visitors can tour the entire production line—from stringing and assembly to varnishing and finishing—witnessing craftsmen at work and gaining a unique behind-the-scenes insight into violin-making. A reservation is required for a visit.

In Huiyang District, Huizhou, south China's Guangdong, the city of guitars offers a vibrant musical and cultural experience. Over the past three decades, Huiyang has transformed from a manufacturing hub into China's Guitar Industry Capital, home to over 100 local guitar brands. At its peak, Huiyang produced more than 40% of China's guitars and one-fifth of the world's guitars, with ukulele production accounting for 80% of national sales.
