The 2026 Guangdong Science Popularization Innovation Exhibition will be held at the Guangdong Science Center (广东科学中心) from September 18 to September 20. Covering more than 12,000 square meters, the event will feature over 110 exhibition booths and a wide range of interactive activities.

The event will include an opening ceremony, a main exhibition, lectures by academicians and thematic seminars. The main exhibition will highlight Guangdong's latest achievements in science and technology across fields including artificial intelligence, quantum technology, life sciences and health, and green development. It will feature four themed sections showcasing major sci-tech achievements, the spirit of scientists and scientific aspirations, innovation ecosystems, and interactive experiences and industry applications.
The event will also offer six major activities: a science-themed IP parade, Yingge Dance performances, a science stage, a stamp-collecting lucky draw, visits to the Guangdong Science Center and voting for the most popular booth. A reading corner will also be set up to showcase selected popular science books.
A total of 3,000 free tickets and more than 10,000 prizes will be available. The public can register through the "Guangzhou Science Popularization Resources" (广州科普资源, Pinyin: Guangzhou Kepu Ziyuan) WeChat Mini Program.
Registered visitors can use their tickets to visit the Guangdong Science Center free of charge. Each ticket also admits one accompanying child under 1.3 meters tall or aged under 6.
