Wang Hui, chairperson of Guangzhou International Exhibition Group, said the event is a concrete initiative to advance the city's manufacturing-driven urban development strategy and strengthen ties between its industrial and exhibition economies.
Chen Lin, managing director of Hannover Milano Best Exhibitions (Guangzhou), said her company — a Chinese joint venture of Hannover Group — would use the event to connect global resources and international purchasers with Guangzhou's high-quality industries and help Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area intelligent manufacturing expand globally.
Authorities said the exhibition, held in the inaugural year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30), leverages the Greater Bay Area's industrial cluster strengths to advance integration between advanced manufacturing and modern services, foster new productive forces, and build internationally competitive modern industrial clusters.
