Echoes · Beyond Sound (sound-themed exhibition)

(Photo: China Daily)

A brand-new sound-themed exhibition invites visitors to experience the resonance between the human heartbeat and the frequencies of the universe. At the Guangdong Science Center, a sonic journey unfolds, bridging the macro and micro domains and connecting science with emotion. This new exhibition on sound breaks beyond the boundaries of traditional auditory experiences. It is divided into three zones: Wonder Zone, Exploration Zone, and Resonance Zone.

The Wonder Zone begins with the sounds of the vast cosmos and nature, progresses to the diverse soundscapes of human society, and finally arrives at the "hidden frequencies" within our own bodies. In the Exploration Zone, sound is both visible and touchable to visitors. In the Resonance Zone, visitors are invited to reflect on the memories and associations that sound can evoke by listening to the sounds of different eras, the world, and Lingnan.

Location: Guangdong Science Center (广东科学中心)

Exhibition period: Open to the public on February 13

Admission: Adult ticket: 48 yuan; parent-child ticket: 70 yuan during Spring Festival
