The Tang Dynasty (618-907) is celebrated as a golden age of Chinese history, renowned for political stability, cultural innovation, and economic prosperity. During the early Tang period, Emperor Li Shimin initiated the Zhenguan era (627-649), a time of wise governance, open thinking, and social harmony, laying the foundation for one of China's most celebrated reigns.
The exhibition showcases over 140 artifacts from nine major Chinese museums, including ceramics, manuscripts, and ceremonial objects. It explores the era's founding, its growing prosperity, cultural achievements, and the lasting impact of a stable and visionary reign.
