12th Guangdong Int'l Aquaculture Products Expo set for June

Preparations are underway for the 12th Guangdong International Aquaculture Products Expo 2026, scheduled to take place from June 18 to 20 at the Zhanjiang Olympic Sports Center.

Overseas buyers hold discussions with aquaculture companies at the 11th Guangdong International Aquaculture Products Expo.

Aligning with the "dual circulation" economic strategy, the expo carries the theme "Fishing the Globe, Connecting the Future." It aims to bolster the global reach of Chinese aquatic products while inviting the world to share in the nation's seafood bounty. After 12 years of development, the Expo has cemented its status as a premier destination for industry networking and procurement. Last year alone, the event facilitated intended turnover exceeding 33 billion yuan (about US$4.6 billion), underscoring its significance on the global stage.

Leveraging Zhanjiang's robust aquaculture infrastructure, the 2026 edition will span 20,000 square meters. The floor plan covers the entire industrial chain—from fry and fingerlings, farming equipment, and feed to processing, cold-chain logistics, and trade services. Key zones include the International Pavilion, Frozen Seafood Zone, and Aquaculture Technology Zone. The expo will also host specialized forums, including the Marine Ranching Industry Development Forum and the Golden Pompano & Shrimp Industry Summits.

Exhibitor recruitment is nearly complete, with over 300 leading enterprises from more than 20 countries and regions confirmed.

To ensure a seamless experience, organizers are providing logistical support to overseas exhibitors for customs clearance and freight forwarding. On the buyer side, the organizing committee has leveraged its extensive database to pre-register over 4,000 professional buyers, with total attendance expected to exceed 30,000. Dedicated matchmaking sessions will facilitate cross-border trade talks, bringing Chinese aquatic standards into line with international benchmarks and advancing the goal of "buying from and selling to the world."
