The exhibition explores how public art engages with contemporary society by placing artworks directly along visitors' everyday paths, encouraging interaction rather than passive viewing.
Featuring works by more than twenty contemporary artists from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Huang Yongyu (CHN), Li Xiangqun (CHN), Violeta Ayala (BOL/AUS), and Alina Nazmeeva (RUS-TAT), it brings together museum collections, invited artworks, and experimental practices from academic and research institutions. Sculptures, installations, and digital media unfold across the central hall of Guangdong Museum of Art, inviting audiences to slow down, observe, and reconnect with space through sensory experience.

A highlight of the exhibition is SURREALITY, a mixed-reality (MR) art project developed by the Center for Metaverse and Computational Creativity (MC²) at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). Combining MR and AI technologies, the project blends virtual imagery with physical space, expanding possibilities for immersive public art experiences. Visitors can also purchase tickets on-site to participate in the MR and AR experience, engaging directly with interactive works.
