The "Vibrant Guangzhou Academy of Painting's 2025 Annual Creation Album" exhibition will kick off on February 3 at the Art Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Painting and run through March 6, 2026.
Highlighting the Academy's major creative achievements over the past year, the exhibition features 150 selected works across a range of artistic forms, including traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, and watercolor. Several donated works by artists will also be on display.
Through these works, visitors can explore artistic depictions of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, folk traditions in the Lingnan area, as well as warm, human-centered moments from daily life.
Additionally, to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year, a special public event will be held on the opening day. Calligraphers from the Academy will write the Chinese character "Fu" (meaning good fortune) on site and present the handwritten works to visitors as New Year blessings.
