The expo aims to promote the sector through a market-oriented, specialized and international approach.
Chaozhou, known as China's Porcelain Capital, has a well-established ceramic industry spanning household ceramics, artistic ceramics, sanitary ware and creative cultural products. The city's ceramic industry recorded an industrial output value of about 70 billion yuan (US$10.5 billion) in 2025.
The city is a major national producer of household and sanitary ceramics. Its annual output and exports of household ceramics account for about 25 percent and 30 percent of the national totals, respectively. Chaozhou also produced more than 6.38 million smart toilets last year, accounting for roughly 30 percent of China's total output. The city's high-end ceramic products, including electronic ceramics, also hold a significant position in global markets.

The expo will cover more than 10,000 square meters and feature over 500 standard exhibition booths. Exhibits will be organized into five categories: household ceramics, artistic ceramics, architectural ceramics, sanitary ceramics and smart-home ceramics. More than 200 companies from Chaozhou and other regions are expected to exhibit, and over 5,000 professional visitors are expected to attend.
The event will also feature investment promotion booths and project-matching activities, providing a platform for companies to explore partnerships and expand their business networks.
