The 2026 Global Artificial Intelligence Manufacturing and Electronics Expo (AIE Expo) will be held concurrently in Macao and Zhuhai from December 3 to 5, 2026.
With a focus on "AI+", the expo is positioned as a debut platform for innovations in China's intelligent manufacturing sector. It aims to connect cutting-edge technologies with real-world industrial applications, bringing together manufacturers, technology innovators and international buyers.
Adopting a "one expo, two-city" model, the event is designed to serve as a bridge between innovation and business. The Macao venue will focus on technology debuts, forums and new product launches, while the Zhuhai venue will prioritize trade matchmaking and industrial cooperation.
The opening forum will feature Sebastian Thrun, widely recognised as the father of modern self-driving cars and a co-founder of Google X, alongside other industry leaders.
"This year's expo will concentrate on showcasing frontier products and solutions in smart manufacturing and electronic information, with a large number of new products and technologies being unveiled for the first time," said Chen Cantao, head of the AIE Expo Organising Committee.
According to Chen, more than 1,000 technology companies and 50,000 professional visitors are expected to participate, with industry heavyweights such as TCL, Tesla, NIO, Honor, OPPO and vivo already confirmed as exhibitors.
The expo also attaches significant importance to engagement with international procurement professionals. "We will leverage our overseas Cantonese business trade service centers to collect procurement demands from foreign buyers in advance," said Xie Huirong, vice president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangdong Committee.
"By working with the organising committee on pre-exhibition supply-demand matching, and arranging dedicated matchmaking events during the expo, we aim to help companies walk in with materials and walk out with orders."
The CCPIT Guangdong Committee operates 31 overseas economic and trade representative offices, has facilitated the establishment of 52 overseas Cantonese chambers of commerce and maintains cooperative ties with more than 190 international business organisations, said Xie.
TCL Industries, one of the key exhibitors, will present a broad portfolio of core technologies and innovative products. The company will spotlight its AI-powered smart display solutions, next-generation Mini LED technologies, whole-home intelligent interconnection systems and high-end smart audio-visual terminals. Several of these cutting-edge solutions will make their technical debuts at the expo.
