24th International Toys and Gifts Fair to kick off in Shantou on Oct. 23

The 24th China Shantou (Chenghai) International Toys and Gifts Fair (CITF) will be held from October 23 to 26, 2025, at the Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center (汕头国际会展中心).

This year, the exhibition spans 100,000 square meters, bringing together 800 entrepreneurs and 2,000 brands, and is expected to attract 150,000 visitors and 100,000 consumers. It features 250,000 toys and exhibits, including officially licensed toys, model toys, educational toys, baby and toddler toys, DIY toys, musical toys, and sports toys.

Meanwhile, the exhibition gathers nine major toy industry clusters nationwide, such as Chenghai toys, Chaoyang stationery, and Chao'an toy candy. It also features six international display zones representing Russia, the Republic of Korea, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and other countries.

The exhibition innovatively adopts a "B+C" model, which integrates the business-to-business (B2B) model and the business-to-consumer (B2C) model. It dedicates the first 2.5 days to targeted matching for professional buyers before opening to the public for the final 1.5 days, allowing citizens to experience the charm of Chenghai toys up close. Moreover, the comprehensive exhibition integrates four major sectors—IP licensing, supporting accessories, machinery equipment, and stationery—covering the entire industrial chain.

The exhibition features ten functional zones, including toy brands, comprehensive toys, stationery and office supplies, e-commerce, IP, supporting accessories, machinery and equipment, performances, forums and competitions, and product matchmaking. Concurrent events such as cross-border e-commerce selection exhibitions, industry summits, toy design competitions, and Guinness World Records challenges will also be held.

In addition, ten drone enterprises will jointly establish a dedicated exhibition zone to showcase Chenghai's toy industry's efforts toward high-end, intelligent, and branded high-quality development. Shantou's drone industry cluster comprises approximately 200 tech companies, forming a complete production chain covering research and development (R&D), design, precision manufacturing, and test flights. Drones from Shantou are already deployed in agricultural plant protection, geographic surveying and mapping, logistics distribution, and emergency response.

Today, the Chenghai toy industry is emerging as a radiant "industrial star" within the global toy industry landscape. The base produces over 50% of China's and about one-third of the world's plastic toys in an area of less than 400 square meters, making it the most comprehensive, largest, and most competitive toy production and trade base in China.
