Dongguan Songshan Lake Exhibition and Performance Center is scheduled to officially open on March 30, 2026. As one of Dongguan's top ten cultural and sports facilities, the center's opening coincides with the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Dongguan Songshan Lake High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. Upon completion, it will serve as a key node in Songshan Lake's cultural and sports facility network.

Located in the Songshan Lake High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, the center covers a total floor area of 45,000 square meters. Co-designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design, it draws inspiration from Lingnan cultural elements and aims to be a cultural living room for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Adopting a composite layout of "theater + exhibition hall," the center houses a 1,200-seat grand theater, a 400-seat multifunctional hall, a 3,500-square-meter exhibition hall, and a 1,200-square-meter art gallery. It is equipped to host high-end artistic performances, corporate events, large-scale exhibitions, and other diverse activities.

At 19:30 on March 30, 2026, the center will present The Sound of Songhu: 2026 SSLEPC Grand Opening Concert performed by the China National Symphony Orchestra, featuring a special program that integrates Chinese and Western elements.
