Sea of flowers blooms on Zhuhai's Yeli Island
A 2,300-square-meter sea of cleome flowers is now in full bloom on Yeli Island (野狸岛) in Zhuhai. Set against blue skies and white clouds, the colorful display, complete with photo spots, is ready to welcome visitors during the National Day holiday.
Zhuhai's first large warehouse-style outlet mall
Zhuhai's first large-scale warehouse-style urban outlet mall is located at Mingyue Mall in Shangchong, Xiangzhou District (香洲上冲名悦城). Spanning three floors and 15,000 square meters, the new shopping destination officially opened on September 29, featuring more than 300 international brands across various categories.
Phase I renovation of Gongbei Hotel breaks ground
Phase I renovation project of Gongbei Hotel broke ground on September 25. With a history of 45 years, the hotel was once a four-star hotel hosting international visitors and served as an important window showcasing Zhuhai to the outside world.
Gongbei Hotel in the 1980s
Featuring an imperial garden-inspired design with white walls and golden tiles, the hotel retains a distinctive classical character. The renovation will preserve its original architectural features while introducing modern hotel facilities and updated spatial design.
