Puning Yingge Dance

Throughout the Spring Festival, the heroic Yingge Dance will light up major venues and landmark streets across the city. On February 22, the awe-inspiring Nanshan Yingge—known as the "Chinese War Dance"—will take the stage, while over a hundred performances across Puning's villages will set the festive spirit ablaze with rhythmic energy.

From February 20 to 27, the Chao Opera Cultural & Tourism Week will be held at the Ding Family Guanglu Temple (丁氏光禄公祠).

At Wangtian Lake Scenic Area (望天湖景区), the 5th Thousand Lantern Fire Dragon Festival will illuminate the night sky. Lantern parades will glow with brilliance, the intangible cultural heritage performance of molten-iron fireworks will dazzle the crowd, and traditional rituals such as the fireworks dragon dance will unfold in succession.

From February 18 to 20, Jieyang Tower Square (揭阳楼广场) will host a vibrant cultural fair featuring intangible cultural heritage items, creative souvenirs, and local delicacies.
