As the Spring Festival approaches, Zhongshan is preparing to welcome the festival with vibrant flower fairs across the city, inviting residents and visitors to step in and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Shagangxu Spring Festival Flower Fair
Date: February 7–16
Venue: Eastern Area of Shagangxu, Shiqi District (沙岗墟东部区域)
Covering an area of about 10,000 square meters, the fair's main entrance is located inside Shagangxu along Kanghua Road. The venue is divided into four functional zones (A–D) with clearly defined offerings. Zone A focuses on New Year flowers such as kumquats and small potted plants. Zones B and C feature a wide range of flowers, including moth orchids, penjing (Chinese miniature landscape gardening) and cut flowers, along with folk handicrafts such as chunlian (Spring Festival couplets) and paper-cuts, as well as traditional New Year foods like fried dumplings and sesame balls. Zone D is a dedicated food area offering various local snacks. Nearly 800 parking spaces will be available, with additional parking planned nearby.
Shaxi Town Spring Festival Flower Fair
Date: February 7–16
Venue: Binhenan Road (滨河南路)
With around 50 booths, the fair features New Year flowers, citrus trees, and a variety of festival goods.
Tanzhou Town Spring Festival Flower Fair
Date: February 7–16
Main Venue: Tanzhou Civic Square (坦洲市民广场)
Branch Venue: West Parking Lot of Chuangyi Cultural Park (创益文化园西停车场)
The fair includes booths selling chunlian, flowers, New Year citrus trees, food and snacks, as well as entertainment games.
Dachong Town Spring Festival Flower Fair
Date: February 7–16
Venue: Xingchongdong Road (大涌镇兴涌东路)
The fair offers booths for New Year flowers and citrus trees, chunlian, general merchandise, food and beverages, and public welfare exhibits. A total of 109 supporting activities are scheduled.
Huangpu Town Spring Festival Flower Fair
Date: February 2–16
Venue: Huangpu International Convention and Exhibition Center (黄圃国际会展中心)
The fair features booths for chunlian, New Year flowers and citrus trees, as well as a dedicated food zone.
Sanxiang Pingdong Spring Festival Flower Fair
Date: February 7–16
Venue: Commercial Street, Pingdong Village, Sanxiang Town (三乡镇平东村商业大街)
The fair includes booths for New Year flowers and citrus trees, dried flowers, and handicrafts such as chunlian, Chinese knots, New Year paintings, and lanterns.
