Huizhou Huicheng establishes three fishing zones in central area

To further protect the aquatic ecological environment and regulate fishing activities, Huizhou's Huicheng District recently issued a notice designating restricted zones in the Dongjiang River, Xizhi River, Xinkai River, and Jinshan Lake waters of the Huicheng Central Area and establishing three angling zones. The Notice took effect on August 24 and will remain valid for three years.

The Notice specifies that the restricted zones cover the section of the Dongjiang River from Zhongxin Bridge to the Dongjiang Grand Bridge of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, the section of the Xizhi River from Dongxin Bridge to Sanhuan Road Bridge, the entire section of the Xinkai River, and the waters of Jinshan Lake (see details in the attached map).

Meanwhile, three angling zones have been established: the Huibo Avenue Angling Zone (850 meters long), the Yanjiang Road Angling Zone (500 meters long), and the Huishadi Second Road Angling Zone (540 meters long) (see details in the attached map). Within the restricted zones, anglers are permitted to fish only in the designated angling areas.
