Silk floss trees are now in full bloom in Zhangmutou Town, Dongguan, with their pink blossoms adorning the branches along Dongcheng Road, Guancang Riverside Road and other locations. The flowers sway in the breeze, adding splashes of pink to the town's landscape.
Along Dongcheng Road, silk floss trees are blooming on both sides of the nearly 3-kilometer stretch. Their vibrant flowers attract bees and butterflies, gradually transforming the road into a ribbon of pink. The blossoms are in pale pink, rosy pink and purplish pink. Some burst into bloom on the branches, while others hide beneath green leaves. Some trees have already shed their foliage, yet remain covered in flowers, as if dressed in fresh pink coats.
Along the Guancang River, silk floss trees bloom along the banks, their layers of pink blossoms set off by lush green leaves. Against a backdrop of blue skies and white clouds, the flowers create a vivid scene. Residents can enjoy both the blossoms and the riverside views as they stroll along the river, soaking up the pleasant autumn atmosphere.
