Recently, Yunfu was awarded the title of "2025 Happiest City." The city demonstrates that happiness is not confined to bustling metropolises but also flows through clear waters, verdant mountains, and the warmth of everyday life.

Happiness in Yunfu is rooted in nature's generosity. The city boasts an excellent ecological environment, with a forest coverage rate of 68.5%, an air quality excellence rate consistently above 97%, and a 100% compliance rate for drinking water quality.

As the hometown of Huineng, the Sixth Patriarch of Zen Buddhism, and one of the key birthplaces of Lingnan culture, Yunfu enjoys a rich historical and cultural heritage spanning thousands of years. The Modaoshan Site in Yunan County is known as "the first dawn of Lingnan civilization," while the Helou Dance is hailed as a "living fossil" of ancient rice-farming culture.

Happiness in Yunfu is also found in its cuisine. Local specialties such as Luoding wrinkled fish tofu, Yaogu roasted pork, Tuodong tofu skin, Chadong tofu, and Lei Cha Zhou (rice porridge with beaten tea) allow happiness to unfold on the palate.
