Enjoy a delightful autumn in Foshan's Chancheng

Foshan's Chancheng is rolling out more than 100 cultural, tourism, business and sports events as the Mid‑Autumn Festival and National Day approach. Many of the highlights will run from late September through November, alongside a consumption incentive package worth 270 million yuan.

Two flagship events stand out. First, the 4th "Che Shui Ma Long" (车水马龙) series in Nanzhuang Town will take place from late September to mid‑October. It will feature a dragon boat marathon, a consumer‑focused auto show and a golden‑autumn fire dragon dance, alongside an attempt to set a Guinness World Record for five‑man dragon boat racing. Second, a new commercial landmark, MixC World, will open on September 28.

In terms of folk culture, the Foshan Qiuse Festival will be held at the Ancestral Temple from October 23 to 24. Highlights will include ancestral rites, village‑style banquets and grand parades, as well as song and dance performances by art troupes from Jiashi (Xinjiang) and Motuo (Xizang). Nearly 60 items of intangible cultural heritage will also be showcased to the public.

Chancheng is offering generous incentives to visitors. Between September and October, joint efforts by platforms, shopping malls, automakers, home appliance brands and cultural tourism players will provide incentives worth 270 million yuan. From October 1 to 7, 15,000 public parking spaces will be made available free of charge to self-driving tourists.

Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in Lingnan charm and enjoy a wonderful autumn in Chancheng.
