The Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism recently announced the first five high-quality agritourism integration routes in the province. Three landmark destinations in Foshan—Xiqiao Mountain, Guangdong Eternal Love Scenic Area, and Zinan Village Cultural Tourism Zone—were selected for the World Heritage & Overseas Chinese Hometown Agri-Cultural-Tourism Route.

Located in Chancheng District, Foshan, Zinan Village is a rural cultural tourism showcase built to China's national 4A scenic standard, capturing the serene and poetic charm of Lingnan water towns.

The journey begins with the Zinan Boat Tour. Along the 5-kilometer waterway, bougainvillea in bloom and century-old banyan trees line the banks. Gliding past the Five Thousand Years of Chinese Civilization stone mural corridor feels like a quiet dialogue with history.

After landing, visitors can explore the Three Pavilions of Benevolence and Virtue. At the Cantonese Family Precepts Hall, ancestral teachings reveal the wisdom of balancing farming and learning. At the Zinan Village History Museum, a 100-meter copper relief mural traces more than 400 years of village history. At the Foshan Good People Pavilion, everyday stories of kindness offer moments of warmth and reflection.

A visit to Zinan Village would be incomplete without Fuyuan Garden and Renyuan Garden. These traditional Chinese-style gardens are ideal spots to rest and enjoy Lingnan scenery. With elegant pavilions, winding paths, and lush greenery, each turn opens onto a scene of quiet beauty.
