Lavelo Go, a national cycling lifestyle brand, has opened three new cycling stations along the waterfront in Guangzhou's Nansha District, anchoring a 15-kilometer coastal route that links waterfront attractions, cafés, and scenic viewpoints.

Route 1: Tianhou Palace to Huigu Super Embankment
Terrain: Paved greenway, flat and family-friendly
Highlights: Beach, sunset views and cinematic photo spots

One of the stations, located beside Nansha Tianhou Palace and Binhai Park, overlooks the Lingding Sea, with Dajiao Mountain rising behind it. A small sandy beach is just a short walk away, making it an ideal place to unwind after a ride.
From here, the coastal greenway runs west to Huigu Super Embankment, known locally as Nansha's "Lover's Lane." The 20- to 30-minute ride passes the Nansha International Cruise Home Port and the Nansha International Convention & Exhibition Center, with uninterrupted sea views throughout.

Route 2: Huigu Super Embankment to Nansha Yacht Club
Terrain: Eco-dyke path with open views; e-bike friendly
Highlights: Premium e-bike rentals and a seamless transition from the CBD to the coast

From Huigu Super Embankment, cyclists can follow the dike east, passing a string of landmarks:
- Mingzhu Bay Bridge, an architectural landmark known for its sweeping bay views
- Nansha Binhai Park, with expansive lawns and waterfront boardwalks
- Tianhou Palace, a cultural landmark on the coast
- Nansha International Cruise Home Port, where cruise ships dock
- Nansha Yacht Club, a marina dotted with white yachts
The route offers a striking transition: riders leave the modern CBD skyline behind and, within 10 minutes of pedaling, find themselves surrounded by open sea and sky. It is the ultimate "work-to-wave" escape.

Route 3: Wanqingsha to the Central Wetland
Terrain: Flat coastal path with open, wilder scenery
Highlights: Sea views, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, and birdwatching
This is the most distinctive of the three routes. Set at the 21st Dyke in Wanqingsha Town at Guangzhou's southern tip, it is surrounded by water on three sides.

From the sports center, riders can follow the coastal boardwalk toward the open Lingding Sea. On clear days, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, a vast cross-sea link, rises on the horizon, creating a dramatic photo opportunity.

Heading north along the same route leads to the Greater Bay Area Central Wetland Park, nicknamed the "Kidney of Guangzhou." Mangroves thrive, egrets glide overhead, and the air carries the scent of salt and earth, making it an ideal place to pause and take in the surroundings before heading back.

Practical tips for riders
The best time to ride is between 4 and 7 p.m., when the setting sun lights up the Lingding Sea. Riders can bring their own bikes or rent e-bikes at any of the three stations.
For a half-day trip, start at Huigu, ride east to Tianhou Palace for a coffee break, and then continue to Nansha International Cruise Home Port. The round trip is about 10 kilometers.
Pack sunscreen, a hat, and a camera, as photo opportunities abound along the route.
