Not sure where to go this weekend? Consider a cycling trip in Guangzhou's Nansha District. Ride along a simple bike path filled with the refreshing sea breeze. As you pedal, the beautiful scenery unfolds before your eyes.
1. Lovers' Road
Route: Nansha Marina—Nansha International Cruise Terminal—Puzhou Garden—Nansha Tianhou Palace—Binhai Park—Huigu Super Levee—Mingzhu Bay Bridge
(南沙游艇会—南沙国际邮轮母港—蒲州花园—南沙天后宫—滨海公园—慧谷超级堤—明珠湾大桥)
On a ride along Lovers' Road, the surging Lingdingyang Channel stretches to one side, while endless green lawns spread out on the other. By the river, you can see the Nansha International Convention and Exhibition Center, the Mingzhu Bay Bridge, and other city landmarks.
2. Gaoxinsha Reservoir
Route:Gaoxinsha Pumping Station—Water Culture Park—Lakeside Greenway—Gaoxinsha Park

Gaoxinsha Park, part of the Pearl River Delta Water Resources Allocation Project, is magnificent and full of mystery.
3. Jiaomen River
Route: Jiaomen River Camping Area—Waterfront Greenway—Chuangxiang Bay—Jiaomen River Greenway—Jiaomen Park

Start at Jiaomen River Park and ride along the greenway. Glass-clad buildings rise like giant screens, immersing you in a cyberpunk atmosphere.
4. Dongchong
Route 1: Dongchong Town Water Service Office—Shawan Greenway—Guantan Agricultural Park

Route 2: Rural Revitalization Demonstration Belt Greenway (MaKe Village Section, Xili Village Section, Wanzhou Village Section)

5. Hengli Island
Route: Baoshan Sluice—Safety Culture Park—Blue Twin Bridges—Shuituntou Farming Park—Art Wall—Party-Building Forest

Cycling around Hengli Island, the newly paved road is smooth and has light traffic.
6. Huangge
Route: Nanhong Road—Datang River Embankment Road
(南鸿路—大塘河堤路)
Start from Nanhong Road and enjoy the pastoral views. The route is nearly flat, making it easy enough for children to cycle the entire way. Along the route, you'll find colorful graffiti walls and mini rest stops.
