Recently, the Guoyunshanju (过云山居) homestay, located at the Xiangang reservoir station along the most scenic tourist route in the Huizhou circular Nankunshan-Luofushan area, has grandly opened, sparking a wave of rural hotel cluster operations along the route.
With the completion and opening of the most scenic tourist road in the Huizhou circular Nankunshan-Luofushan area, the 218-kilometer stretch along the route has come to life. The area features the "Dongpo's Joy" theme, with 16 stations and 5 architectural art installations. It has attracted well-known homestay and leisure brands such as Guoyunshanju and Mofang (磨房), with plans to develop a rural hotel industry cluster and an outdoor sports town.
"The ecological resources in the 'Leading Area' are exceptional, and the prospects for the rural hotel industry are very promising," said Li Chaojun, president of the Huizhou Circular Nankunshan-Luofushan Rural Hotel Industry Association and founder of Guoyunshanju. He noted that the area is nestled between mountains and lakes, serving as a key node along the most scenic tourist road.
