Gaozhou Bijia Mountain silk floss trees bloom in winter pink

The silk floss trees in Bijia Mountain Forest Park in Gaozhou, a county-level city in Maoming, South China's Guangdong Province, have now entered their prime viewing period, covering the hillsides in vibrant pink blossoms and adding a romantic touch to the winter landscape. 

"The flowers are beautiful—the green leaves and pink blooms are stunning," said a local resident exercising in the park, pausing to take photos.

Known as the "beauty tree," the silk floss tree blooms from late autumn to winter, with peak flowering from mid-November to early December.

For self-driving visitors, navigate to Gaozhou Bijia Mountain Forest Park (高州笔架山森林公园). Nearby is the Xiantai Temple (冼太庙), located on Wenming Road (文明路) at the East Gate of Gaozhou's urban area.
