Waldorf Astoria: a new landmark in the heart of the CBD
For those who frequent the city's bustling central business district, the most anticipated news is the groundbreaking of Waldorf Astoria Guangzhou. Located in the core of Zhujiang New Town, this hotel will be part of a massive new mixed-use complex that includes ultra–Grade A offices and high-end apartments.
This project will also house Guangzhou's first SKP store, one of the world's most successful luxury retail operators. Visitors to future Canton Fairs can look forward to a seamless world-class experience, blending Waldorf Astoria's signature service with hundreds of premium brand boutiques.

Banyan Tree: an eco-luxury retreat in the east
While Waldorf Astoria focuses on urban business, Banyan Tree Guangzhou is set to become a tranquil retreat in Guangzhou's Huangpu District. Nestled by Jiulong Lake (九龙湖) within the China–Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, Banyan Tree Guangzhou draws inspiration from traditional Lingnan landscapes. It will feature 147 rooms, each equipped with a private hot spring pool. Guests can enjoy the brand's signature spa, lakeside lounges, and refined dining.
