As spring reaches its midpoint, cherry blossom trees in the Phase II area of Haizhu Wetland in Guangzhou have entered their peak blooming period, creating a stunning sea of pink.

The scenery coincides with the vibrant 2026 Haizhu Wetland Flower Festival, which is currently in full swing. The festival features a spectacular lineup of cultural events, including the finals of the "Flower Goddess" competition, grand themed parades, and a bustling flower market, offering visitors a deep dive into traditional Chinese aesthetics.

This romantic scenery is expected to last for approximately two weeks.

On March 15, the "Flower Goddess" competition finals saw participants dressed in magnificent traditional Chinese attire (Hanfu).

The weekend-exclusive "Flower Market" offered everything from intangible cultural heritage handicrafts to stamp-collecting activities. For those wanting to fully immerse themselves, Hanfu rental experiences were also available.
