Jackfruit season is now in full swing in Jiangmen. At Yanfeng Farm in Nanxing Village, Hecheng Town, more than 8,000 jackfruit trees are laden with fruit.
The area's rolling hills and favorable soil conditions help produce jackfruit with deep orange flesh, a crisp texture, natural sweetness, and a rich aroma.
Free-range chickens roam the orchards, while nearby ponds fed by mountain streams supply fresh fish. Visitors can pick jackfruit straight off the trees before sitting down to a farm-style feast featuring local specialties, such as stir-fried chicken with jackfruit and freshwater fish.
