As of 7:42 a.m. on March 30, multiple weather alerts are in effect across the province, including warnings for hail, thunderstorm gales, heavy rain, and fog. Weather conditions remain unstable. Guangdong weather forecast:
On March 31, under the combined influence of the southern branch trough and weak cold air, northern Guangdong and the central-northern Pearl River Delta will see heavy rain, with rainstorms or severe rainstorms in some areas. Other areas will experience thundershowers, some with heavy rainfall. Gusts of force 8 to 10 and occasional hail are expected during thunderstorms. Light fog or mist is likely in the morning and evening across much of the province. Daytime highs will range from 23–26°C in Qingyuan, Shaoguan, and Zhaoqing, 30–33°C in the Leizhou Peninsula, and 27–30°C elsewhere.
On April 1, the northernmost areas of Guangdong will have cloudy skies with scattered light rain, while the rest of the province will be mostly overcast with intermittent light rain and isolated moderate rainfall. Daytime highs will range from 24–26°C in the northernmost areas and 27–29°C elsewhere.
