Railway services across Guangdong gradually resumed on July 27 as the typhoon's impact eased. Operators said train schedules would continue to be adjusted according to weather and rainfall conditions.

More rain is on the way. From July 28, another tropical system over the South China Sea and the monsoon trough are forecast to bring heavy to torrential rain to Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan.

Central and southern Guangdong will see heavy to torrential rain on July 28 and 29, with severe downpours in isolated areas. The rest of the province can expect moderate to heavy rain and localized rainstorms.

Highs will reach 29°C to 32°C in Heyuan, Meizhou and eastern Guangdong, and 33°C to 36°C elsewhere.
