As the rain clears and skies brighten, nighttime radiational cooling will become more pronounced, bringing larger day-night temperature differences. Northern Guangdong has already turned noticeably cooler, while southern coastal areas will also see temperatures fall from October 5. Strong winds are expected over the sea, and caution is advised for maritime activities.

On October 5, showers along the southern coast will gradually give way to cloudy conditions, while other parts of Guangdong will see cloudy skies turning partly cloudy. Highs will range from 22℃ to 26℃ in northern Shaoguan and Qingyuan, 27℃ to 29℃ in other parts of northern Guangdong, and 29℃ to 31℃ in eastern, central and western Guangdong.

From October 6 to 7, most of the province will see sunny to partly cloudy skies, with larger day-night temperature differences. Northern Guangdong will feel cool in the morning and evening, while highs across most areas will range from 26℃ to 31℃.
