Typhoon Ragasa made landfall around 5:00 PM on September 24, 2025, on the coastal area of Hailing Island in Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, according to the provincial meteorological bureau.
At the time of landfall, the maximum sustained winds near the center reached level 13 (40 meters per second, typhoon level), with a minimum central pressure of 955 hectopascals.

Ragasa is expected to continue moving westward at a speed of approximately 20 kilometers per hour while gradually weakening in intensity.
Meteorological agencies have issued warnings for strong winds and heavy rain in Yangjiang, Zhanjiang, and Maoming, advising the public to take necessary precautions to safeguard life and property.
