Temperatures across Guangdong are expected to rise gradually over the coming week, but large day-night temperature differences will persist. The provincial meteorological observatory forecasts mostly sunny and dry weather over the next three to five days, with cool mornings and evenings in northern Guangdong and light morning fog in north-central areas.

Residents are advised to dress in layers to cope with temperature differences between morning and evening.
On October 10, the Leizhou Peninsula will see showers turning to cloudy skies, while the rest of the province will be sunny to partly cloudy. Morning lows will range from 15℃ to 18℃ in northern Guangdong, 21℃ to 24℃ in southern coastal areas and 18℃ to 21℃ elsewhere. Daytime highs will generally reach 30℃ to 33℃.
On October 11, Guangdong will experience sunny to mostly clear skies. Morning lows will range from 16℃ to 19℃ in northern Guangdong, 22℃ to 25℃ in southern Guangdong and 19℃ to 22℃ elsewhere. Daytime highs will reach 30℃ to 34℃.
