From April 21 to 22, moderate to heavy rain, with localized downpours, is expected to affect northern areas and the Pearl River Delta, accompanied by strong convective weather, including short-term heavy rainfall and gusts of up to force 10. Most other regions will see cloudy to overcast skies with scattered showers or thunderstorms. Temperatures are expected to decline due to the rainy weather. On April 22, daytime highs are forecast to reach 29–31°C in southern coastal areas and 26–28°C elsewhere across the province.

From April 23 to 24, heavy rain with localized downpours is expected to affect northern, northwestern, and southern Guangdong, as well as the central and northern Pearl River Delta. Thunderstorms will bring gusts of force 8 to 9, locally even up to force 10 to 11.

Authorities warned that Guangdong has entered a season of frequent severe convective weather and advised the public to stay updated on weather forecasts and official alerts.
