As spring approaches its final chapter, the 2026 Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area Flower Show has opened at Bijia Hill Sports Park. Running through April 6, the park has been transformed into a dreamy floral landscape—inviting visitors to capture spring's last whispers with their eyes and cameras.
This year's exhibition is divided into four main zones, featuring more than 30 small gardens scattered throughout. From master gardens and Greater Bay Area gardens to city gardens, each area offers a distinct floral experience. A flower market also gives visitors a chance to take a piece of spring home.
The star of this year's show is the iris—the theme flower. In addition to the four core zones, a dedicated Theme Flower Garden showcases irises in all their elegance, with purple and pink accents coloring the entire venue. The following are some highlights of the show.
Futian River: A floating sea of flowers
On the Futian River, wooden boats have been turned into floating gardens, brimming with hydrangeas, delphiniums, and foxgloves. Their reflections shimmer on the water, creating a living painting of vibrant color. Nearby, bamboo rafts decorated with kites and lanterns evoke the poetic charm of a Jiangnan water town.

Macao Garden
In the Macao Garden, part of the Greater Bay Area zone, stands a magnificent "palace." The lotus—Macao's symbolic flower—sits gracefully amid a sea of hydrangeas, milkweeds, and delphiniums. Deep purples and warm golds reflect Macao's vibrant, prosperous spirit.

Bicycle Garden
The Bicycle Garden embraces cycling as its theme, pairing colorful bougainvillea, silvergrass, and larkspur. Purple bicycles are casually arranged along flower-lined paths and beside trellises—like riders paused mid-journey to admire the blooms — creating a relaxed, playful atmosphere.

Greater Bay Area gardens
In the Greater Bay Area gardens, fresh and elegant blooms — including delphiniums, calla lilies, and daisies—fill the space. Towering flower installations punctuate the scene: One in orange winds through the blossoms like a silk ribbon, symbolizing major regional milestones such as the Shenzhen–Zhongshan Link and the "Eye of the Bay Area."
