
The 33rd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting will be held in Shenzhen in 2026 — a landmark event that underscores the city's growing global influence. We sincerely invite you to serve as an "International Ambassador" for Shenzhen. Guided by the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government and jointly organized by the Shenzhen Foundation for International Exchange and Cooperation and Nanfang Media Group (Nanfang Daily) Shenzhen Bureau, the 5th "Just Shenzhen Just Young" Video Contest has officially launched. To welcome APEC 2026 in China, this year's contest is themed "Snap Shenzhen, Engage with APEC."

A - Amazing: Amazing City
Showcase Shenzhen's remarkable speed and quality of development. Highlight its achievements in economic growth and technological innovation, and tell the stories behind the city's extraordinary transformation.
P - Passion: Passionate Vitality
Capture the city's vitality and entrepreneurial energy. From late-night tech hubs to lively neighborhood streets, reveal Shenzhen's openness and warmth toward global talent.
E - Environment: Green Environment
Portray the harmonious balance between people and nature. From green finance initiatives to low-carbon lifestyles, share Shenzhen's commitment to ecological progress and sustainable development.
C - Creativity: Creative Innovation
Draw inspiration from technological innovation driving by industrial upgrades, creativity in urban culture, and development over decades, present the city's openness, inclusiveness, and diversity.

Contest Highlights
• Instant Submission, Review, and Showcase
No long waiting periods. The contest adopts a rolling submission and promotion model. Outstanding entries will be prioritized for publication through the official channels of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government (@ShenzhenForeignAffairs) and featured across major domestic and international media platforms—giving your work global visibility.
•Dissemination Bonus Points
Both submission timing and social media engagement will be taken into consideration. Early submissions will receive priority consideration. The earlier you submit, the greater your opportunity for global exposure.

A series of programs— including the "Shenzhen International Ambassador" City Exploration and Creation Camp, Media & Communications Empowerment Workshop, and Shenzhen Reading Week—will help you refine your creative skills, broaden your international perspective, and connect with like-minded peers.

Entry Requirements (Please Read Carefully)
1. Theme Alignment
Entries must closely align with the theme "Snap Shenzhen, Engage with APEC" and incorporate Shenzhen-related elements from at least one of the four above-mentioned categories. Participants must create an original title and display it on the video cover.
2. Complete Content
Videos should present a complete narrative, with a clear structure and coherent storytelling.
3. Video Length
Videos should be no more than 1.5 minutesin length.
4. Format Requirements
Accepted formats include MP4, MOV, FLV, and AVI. Footage should be stable, with clear visuals and audio. A horizontal 16:9 format is recommended.
5. Subtitle Requirements
Both Chinese (simplified or traditional) and English subtitles must be included to facilitate judging.
6. Entry Format
Individual and team submissions are welcome (maximum of five members per team).
7. Copyright Statement
No entry fee is required. The organizers respect the creators' authorship rights. No additional remuneration will be provided. The organizers reserve the right to use submitted works for non-commercial promotional purposes.
8. Content Standards
Entries must not contain pornography, violence, or religious, racial, or regional discrimination and must comply with Chinese laws and regulations. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Advertisements, watermarks, logos, and unresolved intellectual property disputes are not permitted.

Step 1: Complete the Registration Form
Registration Period: From March 4 to September 30, 2026.
Scan the registration QR code to access the official contest page.

Select "Registration" and complete the required personal or team information.

Step 2: Publish and Submit Your Work
Work Publication
After filming and editing, publish your video on any two of the following platforms: Weibo, Douyin, WeChat Channels, Bilibili, Rednote (Xiaohongshu), YouTube, X, TikTok, or Instagram.
Interaction Requirements
When posting, include the hashtags: #APEC2026Shenzhen #ConnectAsiaPacific #JustShenzhenJustYoung and tag@Shenzhen Foundation for International Exchange and Cooperation.
Work Submission
Scan the registration QR code again, select "Video Submission", and provide the links to your published videos.

Editor's Reminder
The earlier you submit, the sooner your work enters the review pool — increasing its chances of public exposure. Submission timing will also count toward bonus points in the final evaluation.
