China's first Xiangyunsha integrated industrial park opens in Shunde, Foshan

The Shunde Xiangyunsha International Fashion Industrial Park, China's first integrated base for the Xiangyunsha industry chain, officially opened on December 29  in Lunjiao, Shunde, Foshan City. It attracted 11 enterprises as inaugural tenants at the opening ceremony.

The opening ceremony was held alongside the 2025 Xiangyunsha Design & Trade Exhibition, marking a significant step in both preserving and revitalizing this centuries-old intangible cultural heritage.

Xiangyunsha, a traditional silk fabric also known as Gambiered Guangdong Gauze, has a history of over 600 years. The park's launch signifies its strategic shift from traditional safeguarding toward market-oriented, branded, and international development.

Located in Sanzhou Community, Lunjiao, the park covers 75.6 hectares with a total investment of 120 million yuan. Built on a "technology + culture + fashion" model, it features a core fabric trading center supported by designer studios, standardized production bases, live-streaming hubs, and e-commerce logistics facilities.

During the signing session for key 2026 industrial cooperation projects and new product orders, 11 agreements were secured totaling 189 million yuan. These deals cover sectors including cultural initiatives, strategic partnerships, supply-chain collaboration, and digital traceability.
