The second Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Music Season (GBAMS) concluded at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) on August 17, bringing together young musicians from across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) and other parts of China.

The event featured a national showcase, master classes, a music open day at CUHK-Shenzhen and award concerts. This year's edition introduced two new competition categories: traditional heritage music and original music. It also featured an AI-created theme song performed by young participants.

The music season also continued its public-interest music education program. Since the beginning of 2026, the program has reached rural schools in Huizhou, Shanwei and Shaoguan. More than 200 music teachers from the GBA have taught classes, and the program has donated musical instruments and learning materials. Students from Longmen County in Huizhou also performed at the award concert, showcasing a Cantonese children's song and a Yao-ethnic dance.
