The new library, with a total construction area of 20,000 square meters, is the largest county (district)-level public library in Guangdong Province. It is expected to become a new cultural landmark that integrates modern technology and humanistic care, bringing an unprecedented reading experience to the residents of Dianbai.

The building complex resembles a giant ship that is about to cut through the waves and set sail on a long voyage.

As a pilot project for the construction of smart libraries in Guangdong Province, the new Dianbai Library is filled with technological elements.

The library is equipped with an intelligent management system. Readers can independently complete the entire process of inquiry, book disinfection, and book borrowing/returning through self-service devices, making it both convenient and highly efficient. The 24-hour reading room operates under unmanned management, with an inductive glass door system and intelligent security equipment ensuring the safety of round-the-clock services. The new library also innovatively creates high-tech interactive spaces such as a large naked-eye 3D immersive interactive hall, a VR experience area, and AI digital screens.

While pursuing a high-tech experience, the new library also embodies humanistic care in every aspect. It is equipped with soundproof booths on each floor, providing readers with private spaces for phone calls or video conferences. The children's reading area features glass-enclosed accompanying areas for parents, which not only ensures children's safety but also facilitates parental supervision.
