Dongguan Strawberry Music Festival 2027 scheduled to be held at Songshan Lake

Following the successful conclusion of the 2026 Dongguan Strawberry Music Festival, the three-day event attracted more than 90,000 music fans from across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the rest of China to Songshan Lake in Dongguan for a vibrant celebration of music, urban culture, and youthful energy.

Centered on the themes of singer-songwriters, Cantopop, and bands, the festival featured 36 musical acts performing in rotation, showcasing the urban vitality, youth culture, and "music + technology" experience of Songshan Lake.

An increasing number of music lovers have come to Dongguan through the Strawberry Music Festival, using the event as a gateway to experience the city and better understand it. Beyond the stages, Dongguan's consumer scene, local cuisine, trendy culture, tech products, and public services all became part of the festival experience. According to statistics, the 2026 festival generated approximately 360 million yuan in consumption across cultural tourism, catering, accommodation, retail, supermarkets, transportation, and other related sectors in Dongguan.

The Dongguan Strawberry Music Festival will return to Songshan Lake in 2027, featuring an expanded lineup and upgraded services.

Building on Songshan Lake's strengths as an urban cultural venue, next year's festival will further expand the event space, increase overall capacity, as well as optimize stage layouts, audience zones, traffic management, supporting facilities, and on-site circulation. These improvements aim to provide music fans with a more relaxed, comfortable, and orderly festival experience.

Meanwhile, the festival will continue to upgrade its artist lineup, performance content, urban integration, and on-site experience, bringing together a larger-scale gathering, more diverse musical elements, and more comprehensive services. Organizers also hope to deliver greater warmth, order, and memorable experiences to every music fan visiting Songshan Lake, Dongguan.
