China's first Golden Image Photography Village was inaugurated on December 14 at the China Litchi Expo Hall in Maoming, Guangdong, marking a new stage in the integration of photography art with local cultural and tourism industries.

As a national-level photography art exchange platform and a demonstration project for the fusion of culture and tourism, it will inject strong cultural momentum into Maoming's rural development.

The photography village is led by Li Hao, the first winner of the China Photography Golden Image Award in western Guangdong and Chairman of the Maoming Photographers Association. The village will invite winners of the China Photography Golden Image Award to take turns as resident photographers every quarter, conducting creation, seminars, and exhibition activities. It will also launch seasonal themed events. Meanwhile, it will implement a photography talent training program to enhance enthusiasts' skills through lectures, training, and other formats.
