Model casting for the 2026 Guangdong Fashion Week Spring Session was held on March 29 in Guangzhou. The Fashion Week will be held from April 17 to 24 in the Chimelong Wanbo Business District (广州长隆万博商圈) in Panyu District, Guangzhou.
As a key lead-up event, the casting drew 641 professional models from across China. At the venue, models were evaluated by directors and brand representatives, showcasing their skills in catwalk performance and on-camera presence.
The early nationwide selection aims to secure top talent in advance—meeting height requirements of at least 177 cm for women and 187 cm for men—and ensure high show standards. It also supports industry upgrading by enabling models to better present new designs and innovations, while helping cultivate future talent.
