A new cultural center opened in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, on May 5. Its design was inspired by the traditional "Tiaoshun Net Dragon", a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage item.

The dragon-shaped building has quickly become a new city landmark. Its grand theater debuted with the popular Chinese dance drama "Wing Chun".
Officials say the center will continue to introduce high-quality productions from China and abroad, while also promoting local marine culture and intangible cultural heritage resources.

The venue aims to become a major cultural and performing arts hub in western Guangdong, offering residents and visitors a new gateway to world art.
