Recently, Chaozhou's smart sanitary-ware products were exhibited in Athens, Greece. Heek (航牌卫浴) took a new step in bringing Guangdong products to global markets through the newly opened Chaozhou Products Overseas (Greece) Exhibition and Trade Centre (潮货海外希腊展贸中心), connecting with hotel, real estate and construction buyers across Southern Europe.
What was promoted at the exhibition booth was not merely individual products, but the international debut of the "Trustworthy Chaozhou" production area brand.

Chaozhou is China's largest production base for sanitary ceramics. In 2025, the city produced 5.6 million smart toilets, more than 30 percent of the national total. Put another way, one in every three smart toilets in China comes from Chaozhou, and nearly 80 percent of the ceramic components used in smart toilets nationwide are made there.
Chaozhou has invested in quality infrastructure and rolled out a package of measures under the "Trustworthy Chaozhou" initiative.

Chaozhou also became the first city in Guangdong to standardize how 3C certification units are divided for electronic bidets. By coordinating with four leading certification bodies, it has ensured that one category of products follows one set of standards, sparing companies from redundant testing and certification.
