According to data released by the customs authorities, Huizhou's total import and export value reached 237.46 billion yuan in the first seven months of 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 6.8%. Exports amounted to 134.24 billion yuan, rising by 7.5%, while imports totaled 103.22 billion yuan, up 5.9%.

During this period, general trade reached 117.97 billion yuan, up 26.3% year-on-year, comprising 49.7% of the city's total foreign trade. Among enterprises with actual foreign trade performance, foreign-invested enterprises recorded imports and exports of 121.31 billion yuan, an increase of 12.1%. Private enterprises, primarily small, medium, and micro-sized ones, achieved import and export values of 110.83 billion yuan, growing by 10.7%.
In terms of trading partners, Huizhou's top five partners were Taiwan Province of China, ASEAN, the European Union, the United States, and Hong Kong SAR of China. Their combined trade with Huizhou totaled 137.35 billion yuan, accounting for 57.8% of the city's total foreign trade. Specifically, trade with Taiwan Province reached 38.68 billion yuan (up 14.9%), ASEAN 33.23 billion yuan (up 6.3%), the EU 24.19 billion yuan (up 8.5%), and Hong Kong SAR 20.52 billion yuan (up 9%). Meanwhile, trade with the United States amounted to 20.73 billion yuan, reflecting a decrease of 6.3%.
By product category, Huizhou exported 104.34 billion yuan worth of mechanical and electrical products in the first seven months, an increase of 9.5%, which accounted for 77.7% of the city's total exports. Imports of mechanical and electrical products stood at 76.7 billion yuan, rising by 3.8% and representing 74.3% of total imports during the same period.
