At the recent 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), Xuwen, Zhanjiang, reached a new cooperation agreement with Finland. The agreement for the Xuwen WePark Holistic Sports Park and the Sino-Finnish Sports, Culture and Tourism Innovation Cooperation Project was formally signed, marking a landmark achievement in local-level China-Finland cooperation at this year's fair.

Centered on the core philosophy of "Making Sports More Enjoyable," the project integrates multiple functions, including national fitness, youth sports, parent-child activities, smart sports, sports events and sports-oriented leisure. It aims to develop a China-Finland sports park demonstration project featuring international cooperation, sports-industry highlights and Xuwen's distinctive local characteristics.

It is worth noting that Xuwen's first "China-Finland-Netherlands WePark Sports Park" was officially completed and opened in 2024. Relying on the cooperation platform of the Sino-Finland Friendly Cooperation Project of Happy Sports, the project introduced Finland's advanced sports-space design concepts and international sports resources. It has quickly become a demonstration project for the integrated development of agriculture, sports, culture and tourism in Xuwen, as well as an important platform for international exchanges and cooperation.
