The 2025 World Guangdong Entrepreneurs Convention is set to take place in Guangzhou from September 28 to 30, aiming to bring together Guangdong entrepreneurs from around the world to foster collaboration and spur economic growth.
This grand event will be organized in a "1+5+N" format, featuring one opening ceremony, five thematic forums, and a series of supporting activities. These activities include a Guangdong Entrepreneurs' Specialty Products Exhibition, an exhibition showcasing the achievements of the top 100 private enterprises in Guangdong Province for 2025, and business tours, among others.
During the convention, the 2025 list of the top 100 private enterprises in Guangdong Province will be released. For the first time, two sets of outstanding cases will be unveiled: one focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship among young Guangdong entrepreneurs and the other on their endeavors in "going global and attracting foreign investment."
A signing ceremony for investment attraction projects involving Guangdong entrepreneurs worldwide will be held, along with the launch of a global cooperation initiative for Guangdong entrepreneurs.
The five thematic forums will explore crucial topics such as the construction of a modern industrial system, the High-Quality Development Project for Counties, Towns, and Villages, international cooperation and the global market, innovation and inheritance among young Guangdong entrepreneurs, and financial support for high-quality development. Representatives from 21 cities in Guangdong will also give roadshow presentations of their investment environments.
This year marks the debut of the Guangdong Entrepreneurs' Specialty Products Exhibition. Covering themes like modern manufacturing, electronic information, artificial intelligence and robotics, biopharmaceuticals, rural revitalization, and the 15th National Games, the exhibition will offer a comprehensive display of Guangdong entrepreneurs' specialty products through an interactive, exhibition-based approach combined with graphic and video presentations.
Since its first edition in 2008, the Guangdong Entrepreneurs Convention has been successfully held six times.
The Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce initiated preparations for this year's convention at the end of last year. As of now, a total of 172 investment projects by private enterprises in Guangdong for 2025 and 2026 have been collected, with a combined investment amount of 138.72572 billion yuan. Among them, 36 projects have investments exceeding 1 billion yuan. These relevant projects will be signed during the opening ceremony of the 2025 World Guangdong Entrepreneurs Convention.
