UBTECH Robotics, a pioneering Guangdong enterprise in the humanoid robot industry, announced on March 31 its 2025 annual results, revealing a historic breakthrough in the commercialization of embodied intelligence.

For the first time, the company's full-sized embodied AI humanoid robots—standing over 160cm and capable of autonomous operation—topped global charts in both revenue and sales volume.
With 1,079 units delivered and a staggering revenue of 820 million yuan, representing a year-on-year surge of over 2,203%, UBTECH has established its position as a leading player in the global humanoid robotics sector.
The company's total annual revenue reached 2.001 billion yuan, a 53.3% increase from the previous year, securing its place as the highest-earning humanoid robot company worldwide.
A significant driver of this growth was the full-sized embodied AI segment, which now accounts for 41% of total revenue. This shift toward high-end industrial applications propelled the company's overall gross profit to 7.5 billion yuan, more than doubling its performance from the prior year.
Beyond the industrial sector, UBTECH also maintained its dominance in the smaller-scale humanoid robot market, selling over 12,700 non-embodied units, further solidifying its comprehensive market footprint.
Throughout 2025, UBTECH's Walker series of industrial humanoid robots successfully transitioned from laboratory prototypes to massive-scale deployment.
By integrating into automotive manufacturing, smart logistics, and semiconductor production, UBTECH became the world's only enterprise to achieve a thousand-unit delivery milestone for full-sized robots within a single year. These machines are now serving several Fortune Global 500 clients, proving their practical value in high-precision environments such as 3C electronics and aerospace manufacturing.
The company's commercial success is underpinned by a massive investment in research and development (R&D), which totaled over 500 million yuan in 2025 alone.
With a specialized R&D team of nearly 1,000 professionals, UBTECH has built a robust technical stack centered on its open-source embodied AI large model, "Thinker," which has already secured nine world-first rankings.
The company has also introduced groundbreaking hardware innovations, including its fifth-generation dexterous hands capable of sub-millimeter precision and a pioneering battery system that allows robots to operate 24/7 without downtime.
