According to customs statistics, Huizhou's total import and export value reached 197.99 billion yuan in the first half of 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 6.9%. Exports amounted to 111.11 billion yuan, up 6.8%, while imports totaled 86.88 billion yuan, rising by 6.9%.

During the period under review, Huizhou experienced significant growth in general trade and trade conducted by private enterprises.
General trade reached 98.72 billion yuan, surging 26.4% and accounting for 49.9% of the city's total trade. Processing trade rose slightly by 0.7% to 63.21 billion yuan, accounting for 31.9%, while trade under bonded logistics stood at 35.68 billion yuan, constituting 18%.
Private enterprises, predominantly small and medium-sized businesses, recorded a notable increase in trade. Their imports and exports hit 92.48 billion yuan, up 11.6%, representing 46.7% of the city's total. Foreign-invested enterprises saw trade volume reach 100.95 billion yuan, growing by 12% and accounting for 51%.
In the first half of the year, Huizhou's top four trading partners were Taiwan Province, ASEAN countries, the EU, and Hong Kong SAR, with a combined trade volume of 97.35 billion yuan, increasing by 11.3%, 6.6%, 7.3%, and 7.5% respectively.
