Recently, the 14th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Guangdong Maoming Division) and the "Youcheng Kechuang" Cup Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were held in Maoming. More than 30 local enterprises participated, covering fields such as the green chemical industry, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical food.
The event featured a format of "5-minute roadshow + 3-minute Q&A," with seven industry experts scoring on-site. The competition was divided into start-up and growth groups. Winning projects will be included in the Maoming Science and Technology Plan Project Database, with a maximum financial support of 150,000 yuan. Representatives of participating enterprises stated that the event provided an important platform for technical exchanges and resource connections.
Next, Maoming will hold a training camp to provide special guidance for enterprises advancing to the provincial competition. The competition will continue to promote the upgrading of local industries and inject new impetus into economic development.
