Huizhou's first Bonded Logistics Center clears final inspection, set to boost regional manufacturing

The Huizhou Zhongkai Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) passed a joint on-site inspection on January 7 by a team led by Shenzhen Customs. This final step paves the way for the center to start operations upon formal approval, offering functions like bonded warehousing and international distribution to support the regional manufacturing industry.

The Huizhou Zhongkai Bonded Logistics Center (Type B), located in the Chenjiang Subdistrict of the Zhongkai High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, was greenlighted in September 2025. With a total area of 76,100 square meters and a building area of 58,700 square meters (including 53,600 square meters of warehouse space), it became the seventh facility of its kind approved in Guangdong Province.

In recent years, as a major foreign trade city in Guangdong, Huizhou has consistently ranked fifth in the province in terms of total import and export volume. According to statistics, from January to November 2025, Huizhou's total import and export volume reached 387.06 billion yuan, reflecting an 8.2% year-on-year growth compared to the same period in 2024. However, due to the absence of comprehensive bonded zones or bonded logistics centers within the city, local processing trade enterprises had to conduct operations such as bonded warehousing, logistics distribution, export tax rebates, and bonded transfers in neighboring cities. This underscores the city's pressing need for bonded warehousing and logistics support infrastructure.
